This is going to be a short post and is a trial since this is the first time I have covered a Sit and Go tournament. Greg Raymer went up against 24242 in a No Limit Hold-em, turbo, heads-up, 2 player, sit and go (phew, thats a mouthful). The buy-in was $1,100+$30.
The event started at 20:56ET and ended at 21:00ET. So…one of them dropped $1,130 in 4 minutes of poker play.
I started watching at 20:56:05 so I would like to think I saw all of the hands and there were 19 of them. 2 hands were above the blinds of 40.
There was a hand that was 160 which had Greg Raymer betting after the flop (40) and river (80). 24242 called both times and lost when Raymer showed two pair (Tens and Fours).
The event the ended the game was a hand where after the whole cards Raymer raised from 20 to 40 and was then re-raised another 100 which Raymer called. The flop was [Kh Qd 4d] and 24242 bet 200 and Raymer went over the top all-in which 24242 called right away. They flipped over their cards and Greg Raymer had pocket aces while 24242 had AK. The turn was a 3c and river a tc not improving 24242 and Raymer won the hand and left with a “gg”.

tsifknits ($21674 in chips), molswi47 ($24314 in chips) and ilvdnfl ($20000 in chips) played $100/$200 No Limit Hold-em. They played at the Antares III 50 BB min, Special table at StarsPoker.
While I watched the average pot size was $1164. They were playing really fast with a lot of hands being folded after the hole cards were dealt, they had >150 H/hr. Even the larger hands that were played weren’t past the flop. One that was $4,200 had a raise by molswi47 to $625 and then was re-raised by ilvdnfi to $2000 then molswi47 went over the top of that making it $5155 and ilvdnfl then folded.
The table didn’t last long and there really weren’t any good hands to talk about. Hopefully the next game I cover will be longer and have some exciting hands to report about. When the table broke up The players left with:
- ilvdnfl ($21878 in chips)
- tsifknits ($22672 in chips)
- molswi47 ($26417 in chips)
